Johannes is a senior HR leader, focusing on strategic issues and tangible business contribution, with experience in global matrix organisations.

He has significant international experience, with extensive knowledge of UK and European employment legislation in many different jurisdictions. He is a proven leader with excellent interpersonal and team building skills, coupled with strong influencing and consulting skills. 

Johannes has previously been a trustee of a small Kenyan/ British charity - New Life Nyambene - which works with street children in Maua, Kenya, providing them with a home and an education. Funding comes primarily from donors in the UK, but a local team is responsible for management of the facilities and pastoral care for the children. He travelled to Kenya and led the recruitment of a local business manager for the charity.

Until December 2021, Johannes served a five-year term as an Elder and Trustee at Gold Hill Baptist Church in Chalfont St Peter.  He recently retired from the British Council.
