What is the 'In Aid Of’ Fundraising Agreement?

Thank you for your commitment to raise vital funds ‘in aid of’ Christian Aid, taking action to fight the causes of poverty. Christian Aid respond to humanitarian emergencies, and we raise awareness and funds to ensure our work has the greatest possible impact.

Our fundraisers are welcome to use the ‘in aid of’ Christian Aid Logo below for your fundraising promotion, however you must clearly state that you are fundraising ‘in aid’ of Christian Aid and that you do not represent the charity nor have you entered into a legally binding contract.

As an ‘in aid of’ fundraiser for Christian Aid you are responsible for all aspects of the fundraising activity you organise. Christian Aid will not accept any liability relating to your fundraising and have the right to withdraw the use of our name and logo should the activity risk the reputation of the charity. Christian Aid cannot be held responsible for any costs, taxes, or expenses incurred or arising in connection with your fundraising activity.

You'll need to adhere to the fundraising principles, ensuring that all interactions with the public are conducted with transparency and integrity.

How we can support your fundraising

At Christian Aid we have teams on hand with to support you and answer any questions you may have.

Way to give

Online

Any donations made via an online giving page will be paid directly to us automatically.

If you’d like to make an online cash donation on behalf of your church or fundraising group via our website, go to: caweek.org/give

Direct

You can pay directly into our account via a BACS Bank transfer. For payment details, please contact on hello@christian-aid.org.

By Branch

Use a paying in slip to take your cash and cheques into a local Lloyds branch near you. Request a paying in slip by calling 020 7523 2492.

By Post Office

Bring your cash and cheques to a local post office using a paying card. You can request a paying in card through our Income Processing Team on ipunit@christian-aid.org. Please note that post office paying cards are allocated to Christian Aid Week funds only and cannot be used for paying in collections for the general fund or other Appeals.

By Mail

If you have a cheque, you can send this in the post to our main office in London at:

Please include a note of the church or fundraising group’s name and OR number if you know it and reiterate that this is to be allocated to Christian Aid Week funds.
