Rising sea levels. Floods. Storms. Heatwaves.

Right now the poorest and least polluting communities are paying for the impacts of the climate crisis.

Their response to the crisis means they lose out on other opportunities, from furthering their education, to investing in their businesses, or spending time with their family and friends.

But by making polluters pay this could change.

We took a big step towards this last year, when governments finally agreed to create an international Loss and Damage Fund. But right now the fund is empty.
