Together we can make polluters pay!
On Saturday 23 September people across the UK came together in their local area and online, to call on the UK Prime Minister to make polluters pay for the loss and damage people experience because of the climate crisis.
Thank you to everyone who took part. From pilgrimages to protests, placard making to engaging politicians, we saw people standing up for justice. If you haven't shared how you got involved yet, please do by adding #MPPAD to your social media posts or sharing a picture with us directly via email. We'll add your action to the action wall which we’ll share with politicians later this year.
If you missed out but still want to join in, there's still time to show your support. On this page, you'll find resources to help you get involved such as a toolkit for joining in online or guides to actions such as holding a pilgrimage. Because when it comes to making polluters pay now is always the right time to take climate action.
Watch this video to hear how people of faith across the world share how their faith motivates them to act for climate justice, and why they believe polluters should pay for the damage they have caused to people and planet.
Thank you to the contributors in this video: Irene Abrafi, Bino Makhalanyane, Flo Wright, Shanon Shah, Vibhati Bhatia, Charles Bakolo, and to Faith for the Climate who we collaborated with on this video.
