Climate activist, Vanessa Nakate has a message for the new UK government:
"The new UK Government has pledged to be a respectful partner to the global south, to “create a world free from poverty on a liveable planet”.
Every day, the mounting costs of climate breakdown and debt crises are paid by the poorest people, robbing millions of their future.
Right now, you can make the UK’s biggest polluters pay up for climate action and the damage they cause. And you can rein in the power of private lenders trapping millions in poverty through debt.
For those on the frontlines, respect requires action – now."
Add your name and ask the UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy to keep Labour's promise to the global south.
