2024 general election

On 4th July there will be a general election. The UK will be selecting who we want to lead us as the world faces the challenges of the climate crisis, rising tension and conflict, and increasing inequality on a global scale.

Just because children and young people can't vote, it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be actively involved and have their voices heard.

We have produced a resource pack in collaboration with Oxfam and Send My Friend to School. It includes:

  • Learning resources to support children's learning about political participation and process
  • A DIY manifesto activity to facilitate children and young people to think through their ideas and values
  • Tools and activities to promote genuine opportunities for children and young peoples ideas and voices in their wider communities
