The general election has been called and will take place on the 4th of July.

Just because pupils can't vote, does not mean they can't meaningfully participate in this important moment in democratic life.

Together Christian Aid, Oxfam, and Send My Friend, have created lesson plans and a pupil voice activity to make sure that children and young people have creative and meaningful ways to learn about and participate in the election as active global citizens.

Our Manifesto for the World will support pupils to explore the relationship between a UK general election, global citizenship, and how their voice can help make the world a more sustainable and faire place for everyone.

From learning about the Sustainable Development Goals, to creating a mini-manifesto for the world, this project will provide great opportunities to learn and get stuck in during the election.
