Why Will Aid?

Making a Will is one of the most meaningful ways to protect your loved ones. Through Will Aid, you can do this without paying a solicitor’s usual fee.

Each November, solicitors across the UK generously give their time and waiver their fees to write basic Wills. Instead of paying a fee, you’ll be invited to make a donation to Christian Aid and other charities, working tirelessly to transform lives both near and far.

You may also choose to leave a gift in your Will to Christian Aid, although there is no expectation to do so.

How much should I donate to Will Aid?

Your donation is voluntary, but we suggest:

  • £100

    for a basic single Will.

  • £180

for a pair of basic ‘mirror’ Wills.

Leave a legacy of hope

Your donation to Christian Aid will help fund clean water, education, and emergency aid while also supporting other vital charities. By leaving a gift to Christian Aid in your Will, you’ll go beyond supporting your loved ones—you could help create a future where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.

Will Aid was a really simple process to help make our Will and take decisions for when we’re not here anymore.
