Inspired by the poem ‘Obligations 2’ by Layli Long Soldier from New Poets of Native Nations (2018), the diamond-shaped structure of the Beacon of Hope prayer allows you to create your own individual prayers.
Selecting a word/words from each line in sequence, you can choose which injustice you would like to prioritise to create a new prayer each day.
