Our Afghanistan Crisis Appeal was launched together with the Disasters Emergency Committee in December 2021.

After four decades of war in Afghanistan, the compound effect of climate change induced drought, Covid-19 related economic disruption and the Taliban’s return to power in August 2021, created a complex humanitarian crisis.
