A prayer for the Ecumenical Pilgrimage to South Sudan

His Holiness Pope Francis is visiting South Sudan on a Ecumenical Peace Pilgrim between 31 January - 5 February 2023. The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and the Moderator of the Church of Scotland Iain Greenshields will join Pope Francis on this Pilgrimage.

We are inviting our sponsoring churches to stand in solidarity with churches in South Sudan and to support the Ecumenical Pilgrimage. Our partner, the South Sudan Council of Churches, has written a prayer for this occasion. Please join us in prayer for peace, hope, reconciliation and unity for South Sudan.
