Claire joined Christian Aid in 2023 as the Director of People & Workplace Culture. She brings with her over ten years of development sector experience working in large multi-national organisations across 110 countries.
Claire is passionate about working with people who care about people and is deeply committed to seeing the end of extreme poverty. This philosophy is the foundation of her work in the HR space. Leading the People & Workplace Culture team across Christian Aid’s global footprint, Claire and her team provide strategic partnership to Leaders and colleagues, helping create a meaningful employee experience and supporting the delivery of our impact through partners and churches.
Originally from New Zealand, Claire moved to the UK in 2013 to take up a role with World Vision International. Since then, she has held multiple HR Director positions leading large teams and supporting leaders across different areas including civil society, gender, micro-finance, humanitarian, and climate justice. Claire now resides in London with her husband.
