Survivor and community led response (sclr) in Ukraine

sclr is a community-first focus approach which can be deployed rapidly in a crisis, is easily scalable, and mobilizes existing strengths of a community group.

In March 2022, following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Christian Aid (CA) mobilized sclr in Ukraine and neighbouring countries and partnered with four organizations to implement sclr:

  • HEKS Switzerland in Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova
  • Alliance for Public Health (APH) in Ukraine
  • Hungarian Interchurch Aid (HIA) in Ukraine
  • Blythswood in Romania and Ukraine
