We have developed this resource to support Diocesan Boards of Education (DBEs) as you engage with your church schools in community fundraising and building a strong community platform for courageous advocacy.

The Big Spring Sing is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the courageous advocacy that is already happening in your schools. It also helps schools to more deeply engage in the work of Christian Aid. The project is an opportunity to bring together schools from across a diocese to host a musical event at the diocese cathedral/large church. The event provides a vital platform for children to use their voices on issues of injustice while also showcasing the vital work that Christian Aid is doing with a view to fundraising to sustain our work.

Christian Aid has developed the Big Spring Sing with DBE colleagues from Blackburn and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich Dioceses.
